About British Columbia Highway 99

British Columbia Highway 99 (Highway 99) is also called the Fraser Delta Thruway south of Vancouver and goes by several names to the north of Vancouver including Sea to Sky Highway, Squamish Highway, and Whistler Highway. Highway 99 gets its name from U.S. Route 99. It travels 377 km (234 mi) north from the U.S. border through Vancouver following the Howe Sound and passing Squamish Harbor, ending near Cache Creek.
