  • Heat indices will be high, with temperatures feeling like 100°F or more in southern Illinois locations such as Walnut Hill and Jonesboro.
  • Clear skies are expected in the southernmost parts near Miller City from late morning through the afternoon.
  • Winds will generally be light, but gusts over 20 mph are possible near Walnut Hill in the early afternoon and in Martinton during the late afternoon to early evening.
