CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD ABOUT THIS APP! After I learned how to use it!! I had the free version for a long time. I bought the pay version. I wrote a review and I am more than happy with the outcome of it! I would highly highly recommend this app if you travel! Thank you to the developer for getting back to me in such a timely manner! THIS IS PHENOMENA and ACCURATE!

Man if u r looking a simple way to see the weather a head of you then this is it. Amazing how u can adjust the departure time and figure out when to leave and avoid a s*** load of misery. I don't mind sleeping a litter longer if I know its gonna save me some weather down the road.

Great app. Exactly what I need to plan travel. Convenient compared to manually searching for weather along a route. Deveoper is very resposive to requests for help.

This app is fantastic! It completely saved me from driving in bad weather and I was able to adjust what time I left, so I could avoid hitting a storm. Thank you!!!

The constant reminders to upgrade aside, this is pretty amazing. After using for free for 4 or 5 trips I decided to upgrade knowing that it will be worth of every dime and also such an unique project should absolutely be supported. I’m a OTR trucker and it saved me a lot of time and stress which at the end of the day means I’m gonna make more money 🙂 Well done!

First of all let me say i love the animated car thing. Drive Weather has been very useful on 2 road trips so far. Avoided some nasty rain in what seemed like the nick of time.

Perfect driving companion. This app helped me get through a challenging winter of holiday driving. Very simple to use. Not a whole lot to it but then again I just want to know when to leave. Developer was responsive to a question I had. Keep up the good work!

Love this app! Just what I’ve been looking for. Wind speeds are particularly concerning since I haul mostly tall loads across the midwest. Too many bad experiences to not check the forecast on a long haul. No more hiding under underpasses for me. Getting too old for this. Great app - big thumbs up!

Perfect answer to unpredictable weather on my route along the East coast. Now if this app could just do something about the east coast traffic. LOL. Fairly quick to download the weather considering how much info is being gathered. I constantly tell people about this one.

First review I've ever been compelled to write for an app and I've been using Android for a very long time... I'm an avid motorcyclist and find this app a huge help for planning cross country adventures!! Great simple interface and easy to understand. If you could save routes (departure/destination) it would be perfect! Regardless, great job!! Well worth $10 annually. Look forward to future updates/features!

OTR Trucker use this every day for my daily trip planning. Very insightful, especially with wind gust estimates when I have light loads in heavy wind areas. Inexpensive for full function, easy to use, responsive support department when you have questions, responsive tech department when you need help or issues. Only ever had 1 issue and found it was a setting I missed on my side. I recommend this app daily to people.

Holy cow. Just finished a trip from Bozman, MT to Chicago and this little app saved my butt. Was planning to head across 94 but after checking the route saw high winds and rain in North Dakota. My box truck and I have been a candle in the wind hauling through ND before - not again. Took 90 through SD and lived to tell the tale. Perfect weather the whole way. This is my new go to! One suggest to Drive Weather; add a ‘Refresh’ option to the route you’re on so the weather gets updated.

What this simple app does is powerful. There’s a way to change the time you leave and then you can see if there’s any bad weather on your highway. Brilliant! Love the idea. Wish the free version had more than 2 days of weather. We’ll see how it goes and maybe I’ll upgrade. So far very impressed.

Was going across country. Free version limits you to 1000 miles or something. No problem. Just broke it up into smaller distances bout what was gonna drive in a day anyway. Works like a charm. Wish I didn’t have to use this AND Google maps but helps me make a plan for the day. Also wish you could zoom in on the map when you’re selecting cities.

This app has been invaluable in planning when to depart for my move from California to Colorado, in the winter. The interface is seamless, easy and very clear. If you are going to be doing a long road trip, I recommend this app highly. "Be prepared" they say, and this app will help to that end. Also, support is extremely responsive and efficient.

I liked the free version, but found the subscription upgrade of $10 a year to be an excellent value. It significantly aided an RV trip through regions with ice storms.

Great support - helped me figure out my problem. Excellent app no problems or issues at least for me and very accurate with weather warnings - better than most weather apps. Our go-to app for RV travel. Free version does contain adds which I don’t find obtrusive. Thanks developers! Keep it up.

If you drive long distances, you need this app! My career requires me to travel over 1500 miles each week and I need to know what my how my route will be affected by the weather. I depend upon this app EVERYDAY! This is ONE the most important tools in my arsenal/tool bag that I utilize everyday next to my routing apps.

I was looking for an app that would show me where to expect bad weather on a recent trip from Minneapolis to Denver. This certainly does that. But when I saw I could change the departure time a see how that would affect rain & snow on my trip - I was blown away. With that info I moved up the time I would leave and had nothing but dry weather. That aspect alone makes this my new travel app. Very cool

Needed to drive from Los Angeles to Concord NH to be with a gravely ill family member, did a search and found this app. WOW!! Came in super handy and helped me avoid bad weather in Arkansas (which turned out to be a tornado!!). I used the app each morning and updated it throughout the day when I got gas. Lots of helpful aspects - shows degree of probability of weather events, temperatures, allows adjustment of departure time which helps to see if weather improving or worsening, also adjustment for how fast you drive relative to others. Getting the subscription for a year is a no brainer for the price!!

So during the Rona, all the trips we’ve been taking have been road trips. Now that the Midwest winter is back, it’s nice to have the weather not be a factor. We can decide when we need to leave, what we need to avoid, plan little stops along our routes to sit out any crazy storms that may pop up; it just takes some of the stress out of planning. Love it.
